As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
The text will be uploaded as a MS Word file and adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
Abstracts Abstracts of around 200-300 words (including references excluding personal information) should be submitted to the conference web page as a Word attachment at the latest by Friday 28th of February 2025. The abstracts should include personal information, a main text on the research, and, if needed, references. In such a short abstract, try to limit the use of references and only include those that are essential to your research. As part of the aim of the conference is to promote internationalization, we highly recommend that both the abstract and presentation be in English.
Personal Information Title of the paper, author's name, university email address, Supervisor(s), degree programme, and year (e.g., full-time PhD year 3). Times New Roman, 14-point, bold, and centered.
Main Text Abstracts should contain a brief statement of your research focus and/or questions and the overall approach or methodology you are adopting. Mention briefly what stage of the research process you are at. The abstract is, in a sense, an advertisement to get people to come to your talk; therefore, stress what is interesting about your research. Times New Roman, 12-point, double spacing, and left-hand orientation, all margins: 3cms.
References If needed in APA
Peer review Abstracts will go through a blind peer-review process that includes another PhD student and a faculty member. This means that you will be expected to read and review one abstract written by another colleague.
Poster presentation
Three poster sessions will be organized during the day.
Oral presentation
The oral presentation consists of a 20-minute oral presentation and is followed by 10 minutes for questions, discussion, and feedback.
