Abstract

Welcome to The Magic That Disappeared, a blog about Disney's live-action remakes, i.e. photorealistic remakes of their animated classics. The purpose of this blog is to present the debate that exists around the films and to contribute to it with our own opinions.

We who have made the blog are Emma and Tes,  and are in the final year of the Language, Literature and Media program at Linköping University. As part of one of our courses (Publishing in the mediating public, 10 credits) we were given the task of creating a blog and here you can see the result. Hope you will find our texts both educational and entertaining, whether you are die-hard Disney fans or just someone who found their way here out of pure curiosity!
